For all of us having to endure these past few days of dreariness and grey weather, here are a few pictures to help keep things light and fresh. My Christmas cactus is getting ready to bloom again for Easter, so I will post pictures of that when it explodes with flowers again too.

Hi! Thanks for the floral encouragement. My African violets are much, much happier in my kitchen garden window. After sitting virtually dormant for a year they are getting new glossy pretty leaves. Perhaps with the change in scenery and a little feeding I could get blooms too. You give me hope. My 'Christmas' cactus was very unhappy in my room. Did zilch, nada, zippo for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I moved it back to the living room, though it has to sit on the floor... and it started to bloom for valentines day, and a few more ever since. I have a bloom and three more buds. Silly thing. (It likes being watered again I think) Whoa! What did I hit? The comment box just started getting smaller and smaller and fading away! My computer can do a new trick!!
How's your angelwing begonia doing? any flowers yet on that?
Not yet. The 'trimming' you did really shaped it up nicely, though. It's very pretty, and the starts should be planted as well. Maybe now that it's spring break I can get to that stuff (whooohooo for me!!)
oohhh, Zach all my plants need your love. I have 2 in my kitchen that are happy but everything else just dies. they like light and I think the spot I want them in are lacking. I am on the verge of fake plants. uuggh. I just want them to LIVE. LLIIIVVVVEEEE!!!!!!!! love you.
