when we got home tonight I noticed that this Phal is finally blooming! This was my first orchid and has been quite a reliable bloomer for me, with the flowers typically lasting from 4 -6 months. One year they stayed on from early June till after Thanksgiving!

Some day Zach you are going to have to help with Joel's orchid plant that he left here. I keep it watered and it has grown and expanded but has never bloomed.
We are looking forward to meeting Debbie and Calli. I hope you will be able to come next month. My family is having a family reunion in Oregon on the 15th of August. So I hope we don't miss you and your sweet little family!
